Michael's obituary
In Loving Memory of Michael Allen Correa
October 30, 1963 – December 23, 2025
Age 62
Michael Correa was a caring son, brother, uncle and friend whose presence brought light, warmth, and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him. Full of life and rich in spirit, Michael deeply valued friendship and connection. He had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, welcomed and loved. A special light that lingered long after any encounter.
Born on October 30, 1963, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Michael spent the majority of his life in Tampa, Florida, where he built meaningful relationships and touched countless hearts. Michael lived with Cerebral Palsy, and throughout his life he was cared for by devoted and loving aides who became much more than caregivers. They were his closest friends and chosen family. Their bond was rooted in compassion, loyalty and genuine affection.
Michael’s infectious smile was his signature. It could brighten a room instantly and remains one of the most cherished memories for those who loved him. His resilience, joy and kindness were a powerful reminder that love and light are not limited by circumstance.
Michael was preceded in death by his beloved father, Felix Correa, with whom he shared an exceptionally close and loving bond. He now joins his father in eternal peace.
He is survived by his loving mother, Luz Correa; his sisters Nancy Rebull (and her husband Jorge Anido) and Ivette Rodriguez (and her husband Randall Rodriguez), his nieces Anais Rebull and Yenesis Rebull, his nephews Logan Rodriguez and Gavin Rodriguez, and his treasured great-nephew, Lucas Rezende.
He will be deeply loved, forever missed and always remembered.
