Michael's obituary
A man of many talents and interests, he worked as a fishing charter captain, and in the fields of construction and real estate. He was also an accomplished audiophile who shared his expert knowledge of electronics and speaker design on several internet forums.
But Mike's primary occupation was working as a licensed master electrician. He owned and operated Cason Electric in League City until his retirement in 2013, when he moved to Iloilo City in the Philippines.
There he volunteered for the charitable organization Medical Mission Matters and was involved in several other charitable efforts. Mike also chronicled his motorcycle travels throughout the Philippine islands on his popular YouTube channel "My Philippine Journey".
Mike is survived by his loving partner Merliza Bright in the Philippines, and a son, Michael Jr., in the US.
Funeral arrangements are private.
