Well what can I say about my former neighbor Mike. The first time I met him he was in my new house that me and Rich were building. They bought a home down the street and were comparing options that were available. How could you not love that Staten Island Guy with the best wacky accent and humor. We all became friends instantly. As time went on he became the funny neighborhood gossip giving us the latest news in our community. We use to call him Gladys from the show Bewitched . My favorite memory of him was when he came to visit us in our vacation home in Myrtle Beach. It was a fun time. I was still purchasing items for my recently built vacation home. We took a ride to a furniture store where I purchased a large shell mirror. Mike kiddingly told the male cashier that I was married to him and my husband Rich too. The man looked shocked and astonished. After paying for my purchase the guy grab a bible from under the counter and keep shaking his head after as he read a passage from the book. He then started praying. The three of us just laughed as we left the store. We will always miss him forever. I still hear his voice in my head and will always remember his off beat humor. We will always love you Mike Forever.
Michael! Michael! Damn! What to say about you ? About a man that brought smiles & laughter to the room. You had that personality - You, a caring, loving, kind hearted soul. Shared many times with you and & they were always a good time. I am thankful for the memories I have & blessed to have shared some life with you. I am glad your memories & the love you have with Laurie fills her heart enough to make her smile when she thinks of you, enough to know she now has a guardian Angel.
Michael, you are loved so greatly & missed even more!
To Laurie and the Brednich family, our prayers are with you during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for getting to know Michael and will cherish the memories that we have, like the time that you invited our family over for Thanksgiving dinner, or the time Michael and I spent the day at the Barret-Jackson auto auction.

Michael is a “One of a Kind” and for that, he will be missed, but never forgotten!

I love you Uncle Mike.

How Do I,
Say Goodbye?
All the memories we’ve shared consume my mind
How is it that we have,
Run out of time?
I am forever grateful for everything you have done for me
In some of the darkest of hours, you were the beacon in my sea
Is it true that you are really gone?
That your soul has been set free?
That it is time for your beautiful spirit to move on?
You always made me laugh even when I wanted to cry
You lifted me up when I wanted to die
Where have you gone?
Are you with my Dad? Are you in the arms of your Mom?
Is it true that the pain is over now, and you are finally at peace?
Sometimes that thought is the only thing that puts my mind at ease
Uncle Mike, are you watching over me?
Do you realize now, that you really were, that amazing person you always wanted to be?
Go home now
It is your time
No one will ever understand why
And I’ll never be ready to see you go.
Did you know that I love you so?
That I wish so badly that I could hang on to you and never let go?
But God I just need to know how am I
Supposed to say goodbye?
Laurie, I didn't really know you in high school but I'm glad we met at that first multi-year reunion at the Marriott. I have followed your escapades and crazy events with your husband since then. It is clear you had an amazing relationship with him. May he rest in peace and may you find peace.
To my Uncle always loved and looked up to you. Since I was young to the last time I seen you would always greet me the same with the what's up lil punk. Gonna really miss that. Rest easy uncle Michael

Love Matthew
So many stories about our good friend and neighbor, Michael. How many times he just "showed" up to help out when my car broke down on the parkway, when I won so much at a gift auction he drove to brick with his truck to load everything in, and so much more. But lots of funny stories too. One in particular was when Laurie was out of town on work and he came over for dinner. He stayed half the night and we were telling ghost stories and how we thought our house was haunted. Poor Michael was getting so scared we couldn't get him to leave to go home to an empty house. Finally we had to kick him out around 1 am and he was still scared. I remember waking up around 3 am and EVERY light was on at his house! I don't think he slept that night!
Sending our hugs, strength and prayers to the whole Brednich clan. No question, Michael is leading the pack up there in a comfy mansion with his four legged son.
To Laurie and to Michael’s family and friends, sending you much love and prayers for strength during this most difficult time. I’m so very sorry for your tremendous loss.
Michael was one of a kind. I knew that from the first 5 minutes of meeting him years ago. He had that classic New York, no BS personality, with a chill west coast vibe. We met Laurie shortly after and instantly loved them, especially them together. We never left a dinner (always authentic italian) without laughs and happiness. Loved seeing him with his baby boys, Frankie & Freddy. Thank you for the good times Mike, we will never forget your friendship. Big hugs Laurie. 💙 Krissy and Tony Pagni
Michael was an amazing friend. During a particularly rough patch in my life he went out of his way on many occasions to help me with my car. Whether it was a jump I needed or advice on what needed to be done, Michael was there. I'm forever grateful to have had him as a good friend. Sending lots of love and light.
Sending so much love to Michaels wife and family, his brother and sisters and nieces and nephews. We love you, Michael, rest in peace 💙

Laurie, we didn't know each other in high school and I was so pleased we met at one of the mini reunions. I have truly loved your posts on Facebook and all of the sarcasm and and silliness and seriousness of your posts. May he rest in peace and may all of the sarcasm, silliness and seriousness of your memories sustain you. I was so saddened to hear of his passing.
