Background
MAX BOEHNE GOFUNDME:
When we lost Mike (Eric Priest) unexpectedly on February 22, 2025, our entire world was shaken. Mike loved his son more than anything and worked every day to be the best father he could be. Losing him so suddenly has left a hole in our hearts—and in Max’s future.
We now face the difficult task of supporting Max emotionally, mentally, and financially as he navigates life without his dad. He’s just 15 years old, and while we’re doing everything we can as a family to be there for him, we know we can’t do it alone.
This GoFundMe was created to help ensure Max still has the opportunities his dad dreamed of for him—whether that’s education, stability, or simply the chance to feel supported during a time of deep grief. Every donation goes directly toward Max’s needs as he grows up without the man who meant the world to him.
If you knew Mike, you knew how deeply he loved his son. Supporting Max now is one of the most meaningful ways to honor Mike’s memory:

CONCUSSION LEGACY FOUNDATION:
Mike suffered numerous concussions throughout his life—in soccer, football, and most often during his professional wrestling career. Over time, he began experiencing symptoms consistent with CTE: memory loss, brain fog, impaired judgment, impulse control issues, aggression, depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts.
It was Mike’s wish that his brain be donated to the Concussion Legacy Foundation to help others after his death. We were able to honor that wish when he passed unexpectedly on February 22, 2025.
The Concussion Legacy Foundation is leading the fight against CTE—advancing research, raising awareness, and supporting athletes, veterans, and families affected by brain injuries.
Your donation helps:
✅ Fund life-saving brain trauma research
✅ Promote safer sports and concussion education
✅ Support individuals and families living with long-term effects
Together, we can build a future where brain injuries are better understood, better treated, and—most importantly—prevented.
