A life well lived unexpectedly ended on November 29, 2022. Michael X Black was 34 years old, born August 4, 1988, to Maria & Andy Black.

Michael was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Ralph & Sarah Black; and dear friends, Tripp, and Johnny Rad.  He will live on through his sister and brother-in-law Kym & Zack Oswalt; ex-wife and husband-in-law Megan & Trey Dawson; his beautiful children Conner, Tyler, and Stella; his nieces Rian, Meah & Calliope and nephew Austin; his parents Maria & Andy; aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Perhaps most importantly, Michael is survived by his friends, who he wholeheartedly considered family. He had friends from every walk of life, and loved them all the same. There are far too many to name, but some special mentions are Court, who he called his bff, among other colorful hilarious things; Anna, who he completely adored; Alan, Beav, Brian, Tyler, and all those who made him so happy in his final months. Michael loved supporting his friends in their passions, and was always showings off their work. He had many tattoos, which all meant something to him, and memorial tattoos are in the works. Some causes he held close to his heart are, Mental Health Awareness, End Heroin B’ham and AA.
