Michael Douglas Black was the devoted father of three beautiful children, Kaitlynn Danielle Black, Michael Douglas Black Jr. (MJ), and Joseph Edward Black. Beloved son of Charles E. Black (Patty) & Mona Jaggers Thorpe (Mike). Dear brother of Timm Black, Cory Wise (Mike), Sarah Hale, and the late Russell Black.

Michael was a longtime member and former pastor of First Baptist Church of Cleves and a cherished teacher at Randall K. Cooper High School in Union, Kentucky. He had a love for all things Star Trek, SciFi (reading, writing, and watching), and board games (especially Settlers of Catan and Risk) that was unmatched by any.
