I met Mike about 20 years ago. Our birthdays were fairly close to one another, and he would never forget that. Every year he would mention it. I could never deny that I was another year older with Mike! I didn't mind it, as he was always so good-natured about it!!!

Mike would come over and give us his People magazines, etc. when he was finished with him. He was generous, also, with his friendship. I miss him alot.
I got to know Vickie this past year, who is just as kind as Mike. Thanks, Vickie, for your friendship and thinking of others while going through this difficult time.
Brad and family so very sorry for your loss. I graduated with Mike from MHS. God's blessings! David and Marlene Sieben

We grew up together in Mattoon. Mike was a character, had a great sense of humor, he was so much fun to be around. Michael Ray was loyal, and definitely not just a fair weather friend. He was there for me during some difficult times. Groups of teenagers in our small town spent a lot of time just hanging out, going to the movie theater, to the record store, walking around Mattoon, talking, laughing, sharing thoughts and trying to figure out what the future might bring. I have great memories of Micheal Ray Beasley, he will not be forgotten.
I'll miss you Beaz. See ya later my friend.
My most vivid memories of Mike are as Vicki's younger brother, a smart ass who always had something to add to every conversation! Awe we knew it all back then, now we share our memories and wish comfort to the family. Thanks for the book sharing Mike, I never would have read Lee Childs' Jack Reacher books if not for your kind sharing!! Rest easy Mike, I know you are at peace now!

My memories of Mike are from when we all were grade school kids. Mike was always Vicki’s “annoying little brother”. Throwing garter snakes at us and never leaving us alone.
I also remember seeing Mike years later at someone’s high school class reunion. I don’t think it was mine or his, but I do remember him telling me I had turned out ok. That meant a lot to me!
I wish I had known Mike through all those years. Seems like he was a very special guy. ❤️
We worked together at Columbia Machine. Every other year Columbia was part of the Machinery show in Las Vegas. Mike was one of my techs to make the machine run properly. After hours we became tourists and really enjoyed ourselves. Those times and his big heart will be with me until we get together again. Grant Farrens
