Michael Bailey, 47, of Keller, TX passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2022.

Michael is preceded in death by his grandfather and mee-maw, Michael Bailey and Molly Snyder, of Wray, CO. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Joy Bailey of Albuquerque, NM, his wife of 21 years, Beatriz "Betty" Bailey, his two children, Tanner (18) and Addison (12), his Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law, Miguel and Blanca Hernandez of Keller, TX, Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law, Miguel "Mikey" and Kristina Hernandez of Keller, TX, and their 3 children, plus numerous other family members.

Michael attended La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he began dating his high school sweetheart, Betty at the age of 16. After graduation in 1993, he attended the University of New Mexico, was a member of Sigma Chi, and received his bachelor’s degree in 2001. Michael would go on to pursue a teaching career in the Irving and Eagle Mountain Saginaw School Districts, where he served as an extraordinary Elementary Education teacher. His passions included Family First in all things, grilling and cooking, fishing, the Denver Broncos, art, and gardening.

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Michael’s passion for education, Betty requests donations be made to a College Fund for Tanner and Addison. The family wishes to allow all opportunities to both children, so they may pursue a path of higher education.
