Walker,
You're truly one of a kind big dawg. You always had this giant presence, as kids you used that to your advantage (you big ass bully haha) your height and weight as kids made you seem even more of out of our league.
I respect how you made me earn things when we played ball together. You earned my respect as I saw how you carried your crazy Burnside self in the way of thinking bigger and out of the box. You were always willing to take chances, make big moves and capitalize. Just how you did from the mound. It seemed from my seat you always wanted the ball in your hands. You always took control of your life.
From the womb you were different, from the way you wore you hats, your tats, your whips, your chick's, your aura was always way above us.
I can speak for a lot of us who were younger but in your circle... we looked up to you. That didn't stop at the end of high school, it went into the trade of construction and how you always took it to another level with professionalism and your Walker swag.
From the parties, the rumbles, the baseball diamond, to kicking back and having beers together you always showed me love. You had my back as I had yours , as you had all of ours always it seemed.
Youre a fucking King bro. I salute you as you go onto your next journey. Im only going to cry because a Man like you deserves that type of respect. Youre loved and will never be forgotten Mike.
Thank you for the time we shared.
Always love and respect until the day we meet and fight in the park as kids again.
Love you
- Mike Duarte
