Michael (Mike)'s obituary

Michael Andrew Clark, 56, passed away peacefully on February 12th, in Montpelier OH, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on April 12th, 1967, in Angola, Indiana, Mike was the son of Jack Clark of Camden, MI and Linda (Jim) Mazurek of Fremont, IN. Aside from his parents, Mike is also survived by his siblings Bill (Fran) Clark of Montpelier, OH, Jeff (Lynette) Clark of Camden, MI, Jacki Clark of Jonesville, MI, nieces and nephews, Tyler Clark of Brooklyn, NY, Morghan (Shayne) Mickels of Clarklake, MI, Kasey (Amanda) Clark of Morenci, MI, Kristyl (Jaap) Fleurkens of Montpelier, OH, Matt (Samantha) Clark of Camden, MI, Brantley Teubert of Allen, MI and Logan Teubert of Jonesville, MI, and ten great nieces and nephews.

Mike was faced with many challenges, but never let the difficulties he faced impact his demeanor and love for life and his family. Mike was the epitome of perseverance, always finding joy in every situation with a smile on his face. A visit with Mike always resulted in a, “Can I get a hug?” or “I am getting so big, huh?” question. Yet, he was just as eager to say goodbye so he could return to his episodes of Andy Griffith, Golden Girls or just sit back and listen to some classic rock on his CD’s. Mike was an Ohio State fan who enjoyed visiting with people, playing bingo, and eating a few sweets with a Mountain Dew!

A memorial and celebration of life will be held on March 2nd from 1-5pm at The Southern Hillsdale County Community Center, 1810 W. Territorial Road, Camden MI 49232. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to help cover funeral expenses. Donations can be made via Venmo to @mikey-memorial, by check to Jeff Clark, 1251 West Camden Road, Camden MI 49232 or via the donation box at the celebration of life.
