Michael's obituary
Michael Alan Hawkins passed away on April 18, 2024 in Madrid, Iowa. He was 72.
He was born in Geneseo, Illinois and grew up in Keota, Iowa. He spent most of his life in Texas and was a longtime fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved golf, talk radio - news in general - the old westerns, spy/action movies and war documentaries.
He was predeceased by his parents Bobby D. Hawkins and Phyllis Mae Hawkins. He is survived by his wife, Kim, children Rebecca (Gordon) McKean, Bryant (Amy) Hawkins, Bethany Hawkins-Rieger, grandchildren Christopher (Celesta) Jorgenson, Matthew Jorgenson, Sophia Hawkins, Keely Rieger, great-grandchild Cassiel Jorgenson and siblings Dennis (Terri) Hawkins and Nancy Hawkins.
There are no events planned, as Mike did not wish to have services.
