Micah Riley Gates passed away unexpectedly in his sleep in the early hours of July 26th, 2025, mere hours after celebrating his 17th birthday (July 24, 2008). His passing was thousands of miles from home, in Denver, Colorado, just at the outset of a planned adventure. He was called instead to another land that God would give him as his inheritance.
