I remembered this day because she shared the same birthday like someone who is near and dear to me.  Mesh was such a bright light and she’s truly missed.  One love!
Meshonea was an amazing person and really helped our SNMA chapter at PCOM. We will always be grateful that we had her. May she rest in peace

Mesh, you were the very first person to make Philly feel like home to me. You were truly one of a kind and I miss you terribly. I love you always, crazy beautiful woman. ❤️
Ms. Meshonea! I knew her for a short time but left a great foot-print! Very generous. Warm. Welcoming. Beautiful soul. It was very tough to learn of all the pain she endured in her evening hours. However, she has helped me appreciate the will to fight even when that fight is weak. (So glad she held on until Tariq returned home!) May Naj, Tariq & her precious grand sons find peace in their new normal! As well ans anll family and friends. Already miss you. Til we meet in the sunset! Rest in Peace and Glory Ms. Meshonea!
Mesh was such a caring woman and a beautiful person inside and out.  I will always remember her unique laugh and smile.  She genuinely cared for those she connected with.  I pray that her family and close friends find comfort during this tough time.
Shoney and I have been family and friends for years we would sit on my porch on Pacific street we laughed and cried. Always had something great to talk about especially about our black men..She had a smile and laugh that was priceless.. We would wait for Tarique on Fridays to come home and when she was pregnant with Naj OMG we would eat and laugh and we partied boy did we. Words can't describe how bad this hurts. I didn't get a chance to see her but her smile and laugh will live with me forever. Love you forever Sony.😥😥😥😥😥😥😥
I was blessed to have known her. She was such a beautiful soul.
Truly, my heart breaks deeply for Mesh’s family. I pray for God’s Grace and Mercy as you mourn this very difficult loss. To her chosen family, friends and everyone blessed to know her, I share your pain. Her passing has wounded me deeply. Our bond began instantly nearly 40 years ago at Sister Clara Muhammad. After we each had our first child, we fell out of touch, but time and distance could never erode the love I have for my sister. When we finally reconnected, it was as though time had stood still. In my reflections since her passing I realized why Mesh was an immediate and permanent part of my soul tribe. Because of her giving heart and caring nature, Mesh was many things to so many people. And she wore numerous hats, all as sharp and fabulous as her persona. But Meshonae L. Fox never wore but one face. True there was also Shoney - Mesh’s equally authentic alter ego that was prone to show up when she perceived a violation that warranted redress. Ya'll already know! LOL.  Still, Meshonae was and will always be one of the truest sisters I have ever known, to the very end. Mesh I am so grateful that Allah blessed me to have you in my life for a season, and in my heart for life. May Allah forgive any shortcomings, grant His Mercy upon you, and count you among His successful servants. I hope and pray to see your radiant smile and hear your infectious laughter on the other side! Until then, I will miss you much and love you always, my beloved sister. - Mali
