It is with a very heavy heart that I announce the death of my beloved husband,Richard Marvin(Merrill R. Marvin). Richard was the son of Theresa Williams/Marvin and Merrill W. Marvin and grew up in Montgomery, N.Y.Richard was an irreplaceable force in both of our families which combined became just our family. Richard is survived and forever loved by his wife, Gloria Calhoun/Marvin; his daughter, Renae Henderson and husband Billy and their children Jessie and Katie; Michele Doughtie and her husband Lee and their children Jackson and Mason. He had sadly previously lost a grandson Alex Henderson. He is also survived by his great grandchildren; Layla, Nova, Arianna and Marcel.He is also survived by bonus children and grandchildren David Smith and his wife Tifany Smith, Noah and Callie Smith, Shawn Meeks, Dillon Spencer and Breanna Meeks. He is survived by one brother, Brian Marvin and several nieces and nephews.

Richard proudly served his country during the Vietnam era from September 1965-November 1971.

Richard was a God loving man. He was loved by all who knew him

Richard will be interred with honors on 12/19/2025 at 1pm at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida. We welcome all who loved him to attend.
