Mercutio's obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Mercutio. who left us too soon on June 13, 1595. Born on October 20, 1577 in Verona, Mercutio emanated a light of humor and love in the mere 3 decades he graced this Earth. A unique soul, he had an uncanny ability to drink and bring joy to everyone around him.

He leaves behind his friend, Romeo, who will continue to cherish their shared memories. We mourn the loss of Mercutio, but remember his spirit and the joy he brought us. As we navigate this time of sorrow, we are comforted knowing he brightened our lives if only for a short while.

Mercutio died at the hands of the villain Tybalt Capulet, Mercutio was defending his dear friend Romeo, when he was suddenly attacked by Tybalt. Mercutio was known as a loyal person to his loved ones and a drunkard. Often spending his days in the Tavern in Verona Square.

In rage, his cousin, Prince Escalus of Verona banished Romeo for starting the fight and killing Tybalt in revenge.
