How you can help
I along with my family are devasted by the seemingly sudden loss of my beloved 84-yr old sister, Mercedes, also known as Cherri. She was my sister, my protector and my friend. With both my parents and two eldest siblings gone, she was the only person left to have witnessed my entire 76 years of life. She has now gone on to meet God and reunite with the rest of my family, including my late wife. Although she birthed no children of her own, she has a vast number of nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly and fiercely. Her heart was as big as her bite. She was strong willed and strong headed and always did what she thought was right. She was a remarkable woman, admired by many for her strength and generosity. While she spent much of her life helping others, I am reaching out to you now, our extended family and friends, for support in providing Cherri, my last surviving sister of three, with the memorial services she deserves. Your contributions, no matter the size, will help us properly say our last goodbyes and celebrate her life and the impact she has on all of us. I am hopeful that together we can honor her memory in a way that reflects the beautiful person she was. Your kindness during this challenging time means the world to me and our family and we'd appreciate if you'd consider helping and supporting us in memorializing Cherri's life. Any and all contributions are deeply appreciated.
