Anu, my deepest condolences to you and your family. My husband and I are heartbroken over the passing of Meena, as she truly became family to us. We will deeply miss our conversations and times of laughter with her. It was such a pleasure knowing Meena, and the memories we shared will always live on. She brought so much joy to everyone she encountered. Though she is gone, she will never be forgotten ❤️❤️❤️

Condolences to Meenas family . Meena was a fun loving free spirit person , so full of life . She was everyone mother and sister. Meena loved children , and they in turned loved her just as much.

Meena was always buying snacks and gifts for children, She had a young spirit at heart .

Meena was very determined person , and believed in working for what ever she wanted.

She touched the life of those who knew her, and she truly will be missed . Meena may your soul rest in Peace.

I was sad to hear about

Mena’s death. My emotions and memories went when we were small and lived close by. The times that we talked and laughed for hours. Happy days.

After years of disconnected Mena contacted a year ago and we were on the phone regularly for a long time about the family and relations.

Even three days before she died she phoned me and said that she was going for a procedure and will phone me after.

The next thing I hear from Mena’s sister was to say that she passed .

Rest in peace  Mena

I was deeply saddened to hear of Aunty Meena’s passing. 💔 We were family friends. She was such a kind and caring presence in my childhood, and I will always hold those memories close to my heart.

When I was about 7 or 8 years old in Kitwe, Zambia, Aunty Meena would collect me from school as she and Uncle lived close to Kitwe Primary. I remember arriving at their home to a lovingly prepared lunch, something I always looked forward to. 🍽️

After lunch, I would happily sit and play the 45-rpm singles on the turntable, over and over and over again! 😂🎶

I remember Aunty Meena being pregnant during that time and little memories like that have stayed with me over the years and remind me how much of my childhood was spent in her warm and caring presence. 🤍.

Those simple, joyful moments remain some of my fondest memories.

I also remember many of the social gatherings where Aunty Meena was present. She was always warm, welcoming, and part of the joy of those occasions. ✨

I am now 60 years old, yet the kindness Aunty Meena showed me all those years ago has never been forgotten. She truly touched my life in a special way. 🙏

My heartfelt condolences to the family during this very sad time. Rest in eternal peace Aunty Meena🕊️🙏💓

My sincerest condolences for you at this very sad and difficult time. You, Anasuya, Jay and Brendan are in my thoughts.
My heartfelt condolences to you Anasuya and family. Sister Meena was a truly special person who will never be forgotten. She was strong -willed, loved deeply, and was a kind and supportive woman in particular to the less fortunate. Sister Meena had an affinity towards children especially at church where she displayed her love for them in her own unique way.  She enjoyed being around people, and sitting at a meal with good company. Knowing Sister Meena was such an honor, and a blessing.  I encourage you Anu, to keep the fond memories alive. God grant you and loved ones His peace and comfort during this difficult time.  RIP dear sister 🙏🏼

Anu, I am really sorry about your mom. She did have a rough time.

Mena, My memory takes me back years to our growing up years in Singapore. Those were happy times. Be at peace.

My heartfelt condolences, Anu, Brendan and Jay. Sending all my love and wishing you strength and peace at this difficult time.

Acca, the recent memories chatting with you are fresh in my mind. I will miss you. Rest in peace, Acca.

Your baby sister,

Puspa

Dear Anasuya and family

I was saddened by the news of Meena’s passing recently.  Please accept my deepest condolences on your loss.  My husband Earle and I met Meena whilst we were in Kitwe.  She was a good friend and she excelled in cooking.  What I remember most was our family parties, fishing trips at weekends, picnics and indeed our safari trip.  Those were the days.  We left Kitwe and ended up in Botswana, and unfortunately lost touch after that.  I haven’t met you yet, but I hope I can remedy that in the not too distant future.

Once again I am sorry for your loss. Sending love and prayers from Florida. 🙏💕

Rest in peace, dear friend.

Lynette Ranasinghe

With lots of love,

Len, Dee, and the kids. 💙

I grew up with Mena in Singapore till about the age of 11. She was always fun to be around. In the last couple of years we started talking via WhatsApp- she always managed to make the interaction pleasant and I felt blessed for having spoken to her. She has found her peace
