Background
Melvin was a dialysis patient for over ten years. He faithfully went to dialysis and shared stories with the many friends that he made at the Center for Dialysis Care in Euclid, Ohio. Melvin revisited his love for painting while a patient at the dialysis center and to this day, still has his paintings on display within the dialysis center. On the day of his passing, Melvin completed what would be his final treatment at the dialysis center. A donation to the American Kidney Fund will help with research to help individuals like Melvin who long to be free from dialysis.
