I just learned of your husband, Mel’s  passing after running into Matt at Meijer’s.  My deepest condolences, heartfelt sympathy prayers of comfort. May the Lord surround you with his peace and guidance in the days ahead.

We met when I moved to Baldwin House. Instantly Melvin was so kind to me, having a son help carry my belongings to my apartment! Melvin was happy & smiling everytime we ran into each other, which was often as we lived a few apartments apart! He came by when his surgery was cancelled,not complaining but positive about rescheduling. Last fall he, Colette & I went to get our vaccines in-house together. Always the gentleman, he insisted his wife & I go before him! I will remember Melvin as such a positive, kind-hearted, perfect neighbor & friend. To his family, I am truly sorry you lost Melvin so soon. My prayers are with you.
