Melvin's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Melvin Clay, born on January 1, 1977, whom we lost on December 14, 2023. Melvin was a beloved father, uncle, brother, and grandfather, known by all as a kind, warm, loving, and helpful man.
Melvin is survived by his daughters, Khala Coleman and Shannon Clay, his granddaughter, Izabella Foster, his brother, Ant Ryans, and his nephews, Ant Ryans Jr. and Torrey Ryans. He was predeceased by his mother, Essie Ryans. His family, including his children, were some of the greatest accomplishments of his life, and he wore the badge of fatherhood with unmatched pride and joy.
Melvin was a man of many passions. An ardent fan of 2 PAC, his favorite movie was The Lion King, and he was a staunch supporter of The Green Bay Packers. He found great joy in watching the performance of Hamilton and had a deep love for fishing. Melvin was also a supporter of the ASPCA, expressing his caring nature through his causes.
Known for his enduring wisdom, Melvin often said, "never say goodbye, always say see you later." A lesson that will continue to echo in the hearts of those who knew him. His legacy will be one of kindness and generosity, impacting every life he touched.
