I was so sorry to hear about Melissa's passing. She was such a warm and loving person. Melissa took care of many of Garwood's children, providing a warm and loving home away from home. May she rest in peace.

Molly and Emma,

Sending my deepest heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beautiful mother.  She was such a kind, fun, and bubbly person and will be greatly missed.  Miss Melissa took care of my son Jaylen when he was in Kindergarten after school and she was the best.   Praying for you girls and your family during this difficult time .

Love Always,

Tanya and Jaylen

Molly and Emma, I wanted to tell you both how happy I was to meet you last night. I'm so sorry that it had to be at your Mom's memorial service.  I just wanted you to know Melissa was apart of my life in high school, but left a lasting impression on me.  She will always be remembered in my mind as the cutest, sweetest "cool"  girl friend.  Many fun times, laughs and girl talks. You are both beautiful testaments to your mom.   Her passing was a definite reminder to make time for people who are special in your life.  I'm so sorry again.

Molly & Emma, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your mom was always the life of the party. Thinking of you and your family during these times ❤️
Melissa was a kind, funny, loving person and a great cook. She adored her girls and her granddaughter. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to her family.

Melissa was the most caring babysitter ever!!! She watched my son Keegan from 12 weeks old until he went to preschool. Living right next to school was the best part. I could stop by anytime from school to visit. She’d make tea and Keegan always had homemade food from meatballs to pierogis !! I’m so thankful for you for watching Keegan.  Keegan called you “Metma” but I was truly blessed to call you my friend.  Molly and Emma, my deepest sympathies to you both!! We loved your mom and will miss her dearly!

All our love

The Parkhill Family

Melissa and I have been friends since elementary school. She lived with me and my family for years after high school. Even though we didn’t see or talk to each other as much as we would have liked  we will always be like sisters at heart. I’m glad I got to see her  last year in SP and shared memories from long ago and present of her  family and mine. I wish I had gotten that one more time to speak or see her.

I pray for you Molly, Emma and Bianca that somehow you find comfort knowing your Mom and Grandma is at peace and will always be watching over you. Life certainly is not fair to lose such an incredible amazing woman. She will be missed by us all. Look for the little signs that she is there, she will never leave you. Huge huggs.

Melissa was a neighbor and I'll never forget her smile and laughter and, above all, her generosity. She drove me and picked me up for an outpatient surgery. I didn't ask..she offered which was in her nature. She'll be missed.
One of the kindest, most generous, selfless people I've ever had the honor of calling a friend. From coffee talks to "try this" meals she was whipping up. My kids adored "Thelissa". She watched Joseph and Maggie for years and loved them as one of her own. It was warm and loving and an extension of "home" every time we walked in the door. She was loved as much as she loved others. I'm thankful to have had Melissa in our life. She will be loved and forever missed. She was one of a kind!! Thank you lady, we loved you.

Dearest Molly and Emma,

I am so terribly sad for your loss…I have many fond memories of your mother, as well as both of you.

Hugs and love…❤️🎶

Dear Molly and Emma,

I am so sorry about the loss of your beautiful mother. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time,

Pam Cramer

We were Melissa’s neighbors that lived across the street from her for 20 years. Our daughters went to school together and have many fond memories of her.  She helped everyone, and sometimes those that didn’t deserve it. May God  wrap his loving arms around her and keep her in eternal care. RIP sweetheart. You were a good soul. 🙏❤️ Our deepest sympathy

My deepest sympathy to Emma and Molly, Lisa’s two beloved daughters, her granddaughter & her family, especially Richie & Kate, Maye & Rory. Lisa was full of life and love for them all, a joy to be with, and generous to everyone.  I will miss her presence in my life,  but I  trust that her faith has brought her Home to a place of peace. Rest in Peace dear Sister, love, Julie
