It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Melissa Brandt. Born on September 25, 1969, she left us too soon on May 8, 2024. Melissa will always be remembered for her radiant smile, her zest for life, and her unwavering strength.

Devoted mother to Tallee Johnson and loving sister to Jackie Brandt. Melissa's love and guidance has left an indelible imprint. Her legacy will live on through the beautiful family she so cherished. Her love and guidance have left an enduring mark on all who knew her. Her legacy will continue to flourish through the beautiful family she held dear. She is survived by her daughter, Tallee Johnson, her mother, Barbra Pilantz, her sister, Jackie Brandt, as well as her nephews, Austin Brandt and Blaine Brandt. Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Jack Brandt, and her ex-husband, William Johnson."

May she rest in peace knowing she was loved deeply and will be missed dearly. As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, we hold onto the precious memories she left behind.

A Celebration of Life for Melissa will be on Wednesday, May 15th at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Lakeville. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by a service at 11:00 AM with a reception/luncheon to follow.
