Melinda Monrinee Tanlut (Eads) Thornton, 55, of Atwater, CA, passed away on September 16th, 2024, surrounded by loving family.

Melinda was born Dec. 11th, 1968 in Thailand, the daughter of Robert Stanley Eads and Oot Boonmee (Tanlut) Eads.

Melinda graduated from Atwater High School in 1987, then went on to Merced Community College, earning an Associates.

Melinda worked as a plant manager at Foster Farms in Livingston, CA for over 30 years. She made many friends who became her extended family. She loved her career and was very dedicated to the people she worked with.

Melinda was a dog lover. She loved cooking and shopping and she dedicated her life to her position at Foster Farms. She liked to travel and collect memories using photos.

One of her favorite activities was walking her beloved dogs in her neighborhood. She enjoyed spending time with her best friends, Michelle and Debra, who have been her companions since childhood.

Remaining to cherish Melinda’s memory are her children, Jacob Anthony Buchanan and Brooke Monrinee Buchanan, and her parents, Robert Stanley Eads and Oot Boonmee (Tanlut) Eads.

Funeral Service will be held October 2nd, 2024 at 12pm at Wilson Family Funeral Chapel at 1290 N. Winton Way Atwater, CA 95301. No reception to follow.
