Melinda Anne Lawhon was granted her angel wings unexpectedly on March 6, 2020 in Augusta, Maine.

Melinda was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on March 13, 1964 to Janet (Wagner) and Norman Lawhon. She grew up in Bangor, Maine and attended Bangor High School. She spent several years in Waterville, Maine and Paragould, Arkansas, as well, and she touched many lives wherever she went with her unstoppable smile and kind and generous soul.

Melinda was an active member of the First United Pentecostal Church of Augusta, Maine and she lived by her faith.

Melinda enjoyed crafting, growing sunflowers, and spending time with her family- especially her grandchildren- and with her cat, Majesty.
Melinda is predeceased by her father, Norman Lawhon, Uncle David Wagner, Aunt Carole Wagner and Uncle Norman Wagner. She is survived by her mother Janet Wagner, son Greggory Lawhon, daughter Alicia Sullivan, son Marcus Bisson, sisters Theresa (Simon) Rhodes and Marcie Lawhon, niece Jenniece Pierson, grandchildren Savannah Bisson and Abel Sullivan, Uncle Gerald Lawhon, Aunt Janice Robertson, Aunt Judy Lawhon and Uncle Charles Lawhon, extended family, and many friends and church congregation.

She will be remembered lovingly always.
