Melinda Caldwell King passed away November 6th, 2024 in Bangor, Maine after a brief and sudden illness. Melinda was born in Arizona and was an artist with an MFA in fine arts focused on ceramics. She later used her artistic skills and became a self-taught jeweler, making one of a kind silver pieces of her own design. She was a free spirit and lived all over the country, making friends and exploring beaches along the way.

Melinda is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Christopher, her beloved daughter, Anna Murchison, son William (Todd) Murchison, and grandchildren Alexandra Bilyk, Evan Murchison, and Mayah Murchison.

A small family service was held and information on a celebration of life with an extended network of friends will be posted once details are solidified. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund to publicly display some of her art is suggested.
