Melinda Fay Aguirre, born on September 29, 1961, to Tom and Priscilla Roybal, passed away on January 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Melinda was a devoted wife, loving mother, sister and cherished daughter. She is survived by her beloved husband, Tom, and her son, Josh. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she dedicated her life to caring for and supporting them.

Melinda will be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering love left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on February 19, 2026, at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet in the Blue Staging Area prior to the service.

Though she is no longer with us, Melinda’s love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
