Melanie was my best friend for many years. We went to cosmetology school together and had so many great times together. She was the light in my life when I was going through so many difficult times. She kept me focused and always was by my side. Had many of slumber party nights with her at her home with her Mom and sisters. She was a blessing to everyone that met her. Her smile was the sun to my day. I have search for you Mel for many years. I did not know your last name which made my search more difficult. I found you about 2 weeks ago through classmate.com from BrushHigh. I left you a message and was awaiting your response. It absolutely broken my heart today when I saw this on the Brush High Alumni page. I am so sorry we didn’t connect sooner, but want you to know how much you meant to me. I will treasure our times together always Mel, and will miss you till we meet again. Rest In Peace my dear friend, I love you!
My deepest condolences to the family members of Melanie. I met her at out local VFW and quickly found out we grew up in the same “old” neighborhood. It was fun reminiscing with her. May she Rest In Peace. Kathy and Randy Heil
My name is Bernie and I was the bartender at Yesterday’s Lounge where your mom and dad went. It was an honor to be able to serve both of them. They were like family in that I took care of them and they took care of me and the other staff members. There is a saying and your mom is proof. ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG so so sorry for your loss
I never saw your mom without a a smile on her face. Her smile was genuinely warm, friendly and inviting. I can definitely attest to her baking skills because as soon as she put that tray of Christmas cookies down, I was on them like a bee to honey. I know she is a beautiful soul, at peace, in the arms of Jesus.
My thoughts are with Mel's family during this difficult time. She was an inspiration to many and I always enjoyed working with her. She will be greatly missed!
Our deepest sympathy to the Butera and Curtis families on the passing of Melanie. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. May she rest in peaces!
Dear Jon and Marcy, I was so sad to hear of Melanie's death. Our sympathy and prayers with you and your family to find peace in your heart from the love you shared and the memories of your time together. Rick and Linda Coblitz
My Beloved Big Sister in Christ, Lisa Miller, I can't imagine how you and your family are feeling right now and I won't pretend to know the loss that you're experiencing. May all the sweet memories of your Sister Melanie bring your family solace during this time. I hope that all the great moments that you were able to have with her before she passed away brings you comfort. You’re in my thoughts and prayers, Mel.... “We live with a joyful confidence, yet at the same time we take delight in the thought of leaving our bodies behind to be at home with the Lord.”(2 Corinthians 5:8 TPT).... which is my prayer in Jesus’s Name.... Amen!!,..✨☝🏽 Much Love...♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
