Maxwell's obituary

On Sunday, March 14, 2021, Maxwell Bennett Turner, loving husband and father of three children, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 71. Max was born on January 25, 1950 in Washington, DC to Clinton and Doris (Hudson) Turner. He enlisted in the military (Army) around the age of 20 where he serve for almost 20 years before being honorably discharged. Later on, he became a custodian in Fairfax County Public Schools where he later peacefully resigned. He raised 3 sons in the 70s with his late wife, Jewel McDonald. He married again in the early 2000s and Alice Turner became his wife. Max had a heart of pure gold. Anyone who knew him knew how amazing he was. He loved kids, especially his great nephews. Max was always on his bike or walking to the store because sitting down just wasn’t his thing. He had a very infectious personality and it was rare to ever see him upset. He will be forever missed. Max is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Doris, his brother Clinton, his first wife, Jewel, and his son Michael. He is survived by his wife Alice, his brother Lewis Sr., his two children Shaun and Quinten, and several nieces and nephews, cousins, and great-nephews.
