Maxine was born on May 26, 1958 to Josephine Lenora Davis and Nathaniel Edmonds in Newark, New Jersey. After graduating from Hillside High School in 1976, she went on to study Business Administration and Accounting. After graduation, she landed her first job and continued to use her expertise in many capacities in New Jersey and then in Georgia. During her early years, the birth of her children Kaireen Holliday and Lyle Hankins were her sources of joy in her life. After meeting her spouse, Albert Little, she was able to increase that joy with the birth of her youngest son, Ernest Little. Maxine worked for a number of years and was able to retire comfortably after receiving her Master’s degree and was able to enjoy her love of gardening and traveling. When Maxine had the first of her 35 grandchildren, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful grandmother. Maxine excelled at stepping up and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Maxine was passionate about filling her home with warmth and kindness. We will miss her greatly. She is survived by her loving husband, Al Little, her children, Kaireen Fraser, Lyle Hankins and Ernest Little, her brother, James Davis, and her sister, Kathy Lewis. Maxine is also survived by 35 grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of people who loved her. The family thanks everyone who have touched her life throughout her life and we thank you for your support, prayers, and well wishes for the family to continue the journey without their beloved matriarch.
