Today marks a special day in our hearts — one month since our precious angel Maximo Milan was born. We were overjoyed to welcome our fourth baby and second boy, the one who, as our son said, would “even out our family.”

Sadly, our dreams were shattered when Maximo became our little angel just days later. These weeks have been incredibly difficult, but through all the pain, your kindness, messages, and donations have carried us. Knowing that so many of you cared — even some who don’t personally know us — has brought us comfort and light during our darkest days.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to reach our fundraising goal, which will allow us to create a beautiful headstone for Maximo — a lasting reminder of our baby boy and the compassion that surrounded us during this time.

As we continue healing and adjusting, please know that your support has made a lasting difference. We will be sending personal thank-you cards in the coming weeks to express our gratitude more personally, but for now, thank you for helping us carry this pain with love, faith, and hope.
