Maxann's obituary

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Maxann Crotts-Harvey on May 21, 2023 at her home after her long battle with kidney disease. Born on January 15, 1954, Maxann lived a life filled with love, creativity, and success. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, her presence will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

Maxann is survived by her loving husband, Joe Harvey, whom she married in 1994; her daughter, Tiffany Wilford; sister, Debi Warren; grandsons, Gabriel McMinn, Caleb McMinn, Declan Wilford, and Brayden Wilford; son-in-law, Joshua Wilford; step-children, Tabitha Walters, Joseph Bailey, and Kimberly Hanks; and grandchildren, Cayman Walters and Trey Macino. She was predeceased by her parents, Max and Janette Crotts.

An accomplished and passionate woman, Maxann wore many hats throughout her life. She started a talent agency in 1985, followed by her casting company in 1993, and finally her production company in 2004. Her extraordinary talents as a photographer, television and motion picture producer, casting director, inventor, and author made a significant impact on the entertainment industry. Maxann was always eager to share her friends' social media posts about events and achievements within the industry.

In her free time, Maxann enjoyed talking to her grandchildren, learning about their accomplishments and experiences. She had a deep love for music, singing, and dancing, particularly to beach music. Her favorite color was green, and she cherished both beach and mountain vacations. Maxann was passionate about Down Syndrome Awareness, as her grandson Declan has Down Syndrome.

Maxann's personality was described as the embodiment of happiness and love, a testament to her kind and generous spirit. Her life motto, "never give up," inspired countless individuals to persevere and chase their dreams. Maxann was proud to have followed her dream of becoming a movie producer and to have helped many aspiring actors achieve their goals.

Her legacy of kindness, generosity, acceptance, and strength will live on through her family, friends, and those she touched throughout her career. Maxann was the love of her husband's life for 30 years and the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for.
