MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, 420 S Blue Mound Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76131. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God for the Pleasant Hills Orphanage in memory of Max Johnson.
Max was born October 5, 1943 in Santa Ana, California to the late Oral Clay and Lula Belle Johnson. He moved to Texas in 1947 with his parents and sister and said he couldn't get to Texas fast enough. Max met his wife, Shirley Ottinger Johnson, at Northside Assembly of God in 1963. He retired as a Division Sales Manager at Frito Lay where he worked for 30 years. Max enjoyed reading the Star-Telegram, bass fishing, deer hunting and all things Dallas Cowboys.
SURVIVORS: Wife of 56 years, Shlrley Ottinger Johnson; son, Ty Johnson and wife, Deb; son, Kyle Johnson and children with Krista Johnson; granddaughter, Brenna Johnson; grandson, Devan Johnson; grandson, Ryan Johnson and wife, Kensie; granddaughter, Alysha Johnson; grandson, Noah Johnson; great-granddaughter, Eliza Kate Johnson; great-grandson Luca Johnson; numerous extended nieces and nephews and friends
