Mavis Renee Heyliger, 50, of Ellenwood, GA passed away peacefully on November 24, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Mavis grew up in a military environment and traveled with her parents to various locations within the U. S. And overseas. Once she arrived in Atlanta, she fell in love with it and only left to visit family and friend in St. Louis, MO. She worked at C &D Technologies, Inc as a Pricing Analyst. Her education included a Bachelors Of Arts in Music from Truman State University and attended Atlanta Arts of Music. Her passion was music, reading,  Prince and her son, Le.Roy  She is dearly missed and always remembered.

Mavis was predeceased by her biological father Ellsworth “Butch” Walker]. She will forever be loved by her son, LeRoy J.  Heyliger, lll, her mother, Cherilyn Heyliger, her dad, LeRoy J. Heyliger, Jr, his spouse, Nicole, (Aurora, CO)  her sisters, aunts, Trenay Overall Wallace,  Zelda Overall, her uncle George Fisher and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved very much. 

Mavis requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Mavis’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at Ronald L. Jones Chapel at 2161 E. Fair Ave, St. Louis, MO on December 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
