Maurine Elizabeth (McCord) Agar, 81, of Southfield, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2023. 

Maurine was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 9, 1941, to her parents, Morris Marvin McCord and Gearline (Parker) McCord. She loved the Lord and was looking forward to reuniting with her loved ones who went on before her. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Jeremy. Maurine is survived by two of her children, Eric (Trish) Agar and Robin (Marv) Stenger; the proud grandmother of, Jessica (Andrew) Bradburn, Tim (Nina) Berton, Katie Agar, and Evelyn Agar (fiancé Sam Waldron); and great-grandmother of Ahlaiah (11), Annaniah (9), Asher (8), Wren (6), and Dax (4). She is also survived by her siblings, Nancy Jackson, and Joe (Shelia) McCord, along with several nieces and nephews.

There is no service scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation in Maurine's memory to The Alzheimer's Association.
