We went through Medical school together in New York and New York medical College and we’re close friends. Reese always had a smile and brighten the day.I am glad for the good life he had thereafter with Linda and his family

My close friend at New York Medical College in New York . Reese ,Linda , Marianne and  I shared good times. I often think of those days and I’m glad for wonderful life he had ieith his family. Leslie Buncher MDFACOG.

Forever grateful for the privilege to have met Dr. Markewich and receive the most genuine care and support throughout the 40 years under his guidance.

He will be missed but never forgotten.

May he rest in peace

I knew Reese as my supervisor and mentor when I was learning how to be a social worker in the 1970s--his insight and sensitivity were extraordinary. Much later, I changed careers and became a musicologist. It was then that I discovered his book Inside Outside, which is everything its title implies and then some: in fact, it is the best introduction to jazz harmony that I have ever read. It was a privilege to know him, and I send my condolences to his friends and family.

I remember Reese and Linda when they were first dating. I don’t know why but I can recall them dancing a slow dance togethet in the Rec Hall ( not Shel Mar) with that big Juke Box ( a Wurlitzer?) on the stage commanding everything and everybody   He was a great guy and may his memory be a  blessing
