A message from Liz Tuchmann, Mark Tuchmann and Lucy Rogan,

Our mother Gwyn Tuchmann (nee Walder) was the oldest of the four sisters - Gwyneth, Dilys, Ruth and Maureen. With our family in England and Maureen's in Canada we didn't meet many times. Lucy and Liz and their partners spent a lovely evening in North London with Maureen and Roy years ago and have happy memories of that occasion. Mark remembers Maureen from the days when the Tuchmann family lived in London. Of course to our older sister Caroline, Maureen was like a big sister as they were only four years apart in age.

We are happy that in recent years that we have been able to keep in touch with Maureen and her family because she was so good at sending us her chatty letters and many photos keeping us updated on the family's news.

We greatly admire her bravery throughout her illness and know that she will be much missed.

It is such a sad loss Maureen was a wonderful lady with a big heart I am very grateful for every kind thing she did what ever and where ever she went she brought a sense of cheer she will be dearly missed the Dowler family
