McCann, Maureen (nee: O’Neill), age 83, of Totowa, passed away peacefully on Saturday January 4, 2025. Maureen, aka “The Boss”, was born in Knightswood, Glasgow, Scotland and moved here in 1967 as a Nanny. She spent most of her life taking care of children, most of which she continued to stay in touch with.

She is survived by her children Rich McCann and his wife Tiffany of Queen Creek, AZ and Christina Cannone and her husband Joe of Hawthorne, NJ, her grandchildren Connor, Shane, Julia, Joey & Ally, her sister Isabel Welch of Glasgow, Scotland, and many nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her husband Richie, her sisters Margarete and Christine and her brother Billy.

A memorial will take place in NJ at a later date.
