Mattie Lee Bass gained her angel wings on April 13, 20222 at her home in Sanford,FL Mattie was 97 years old.

Mattie's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint She left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that She stayed here.
Mattie was talented and adventurous in many aspects of her life. She was a master of Farming And Quitting. When Mattie wasn't working or Quitting she would be Preaching the word of Gospel.

Not a day went by where Mattie didn't talk about how much her children and family meant to her. Family was arguably her most important achievement in life.

Mattie is survived by her loving: Husband Garfield Bass Sr, her children, Garfield Jr, Laurence,And David Bass,Gwen Jones, Rosemary Bass,and Sara Bass.
Grandchildren:Tammy Jones, Gay Jacobs, Rachael Bass, Michael Bass, Simon Bass, Leon Jones -Cobb's, Joseph Jones,Sara Lee Jones,Timothy Cooper, Riley Bass, Rance Bass, Jimmy Lee Bass and Countless Great Grandchildren and A Host of Friends.
Mattie was predeceased by Her Mom & Dad Mr & Mrs James and Malinda Lee,Her Son Johnny Lee Bass. A Host of Brothers And Sisters.
Services and Viewing are Being Held At Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Sanford,FL. On The Great Day Saturday April 23, 2022 At 11am.

Address: 2004 Sipes Ave S, Sanford, FL 32773, The Pastor is Rev :John Howard Lewis, A long time Pastor and Friend.
