Matthew's obituary

Hello all,

I am writing this to inform you that, after 6 months of searching, my younger brother -- Matthew Zoll -- has been found and has passed away.

Over the past few years, my brother developed a severe form of schizophrenia that he greatly suffered from. Our family, including my late father, fought together to get him all the help he needed. In the wake of this tragedy, we remember not only what an amazing brother, son, and friend Matthew was, but also the remarkable person he was in every way. He loved my father, my mother, my sisters and I so very much. We all love and miss him dearly.

We are setting up this memorial site to give friends and family the opportunity to share photos, send messages of memories, write personal notes to Matthew, and contribute to the cause my sisters and I have picked out for this. I want this space to be a place where you can express your memories and love for him -- as I will be doing in the days to come.

I look forward to carrying on my brother and father in their story and spirit. For now though, I thank you for the paying of respect and kind words not only to my best friend, but also to my dad, who we all lost that same night.

Thank you,

Joe
