Matthew's obituary

Matthew Richard Robinson

May 6, 1991- February 8, 2024

Matthew was born in Cheverly, Maryland, to his mother, Kimberly Dawn Robinson and step-father, Asa Richard Evans, Jr.  Matthew grew up in Pasadena, Maryland, then spent his teen and early adult years in Charles Town, West Virginia. After leaving the U.S. Army Reserve, Matthew became a truck driver where his love of nature took him out west to Utah, then Nevada.

Matthew was a caring and compassionate man.  He was a highly talented artist and he loved nature. He enjoyed fishing, hiking and riding his bike while taking photos and videos, especially through the western states and desert.

Matthew is survived by his mother, Kimberly and two sisters, Chrysteena Miller-Clevenger and Cathleen Evans (Pennsylvania); step-father, Asa and his family (Virginia); father, Matthew Thomas Parsons and his family (Washington); grandparents, Ralph and Cynthia Robinson (West Virginia); nephews Cole Beaver, Donald Knotts, Jr., Bryson Birgensmith; nieces Hannah Beaver and Bethany Clevenger.

We will all miss him and his laughter so much.

Memorial Celebration, June 22, 2024 at 1:00 PM, Veterans Memorial Pavilion at Sam Michaels Park, 235 Sam Michaels Lane, Harpers Ferry, WV.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, contributions can be made in Matthew's name to U.S. Vets. Nationwide information can be found on their website, www.USvets.org.
