When Matt was 9 years old, he was granted a Make-A-Wish - he chose to take a Disney Cruise. This experience left such a lasting impression on him, that as an adult he wanted to give back to the organization that had given him such a memorable trip. In honor of Matt, your gifts can provide an opportunity for other children to receive a Wish, a much-needed respite in the middle of a long medical journey.

What is the history of your organization?
Make-A-Wish Central New York is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to granting life-changing wishes for critically ill children throughout the central portion of New York State. Founded in 1985, our chapter is part of a global wish-granting organization focused on creating hope and strength for critically ill children and their families.

What areas do you serve?
We are committed to granting the wish of every medically eligible child within our 15-county territory, which includes Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Otsego, St. Lawrence, Tioga and Tompkins counties.
