A memory of Matty P

Even though we are cousins by a technicality, you are an older brother to Taylor and me. So is Mike. The 4 of us always had a blast together, lots of laughs, getting together as kids at the house in Tully for a holiday, Thanksgiving, Easter, etc. and over the years. We love you lots Matty! See you again bro, love, Mere

A very happy and very patriot…
A very happy and very patriotic new years eve in 2017! (Theme probably suggested by Matt!)
Darlene, Phil and family, I am so sorry. My heart aches for you and all who knew this wonderful man. Thinking of you and sending love and my heartfelt sympathies.

I remember my cousin Matt’s childhood bedroom. It was absolutely full plastic figures and models. Everything from planes and tanks to army men. As we got older I saw less and less of Matt as our lives pulled us in varying directions, but every time I thought of him or someone in the family would mention him, it made me smile to think of what the young Matt I new would think of himself all grown up and doing the things he always dreamed of.

My thoughts go out to my cousin Mike, Aunt Darlene, uncle Phil, and of course his wife Megan and sons Bode and Lyle.

I grew up in Matt's neighborhood right next door and remember the times we threw crab apples at each other's yards just for fun and his high school graduation party. Also can't forget his first vehicle which was a little blue Jeep Cherokee he drove around a lot and we knew he was home when that was in his driveway.
Darlene and Phil,  we are heartbroken to learn of Matt's passing.  It is such a tragic loss for you, Michael, Megan and his beautiful boys.  We have so many memories of spending Christmas in Syracuse and of his skiing at Song Mountain. Matt was truly a wonderful, kind and loving person and we are so saddened by his loss. You are in our throughts and prayers.
There are no words to express…

There are no words to express how deeply saddened I am about the news of Matthew’s passing. I have such fond memories growing up so close to my cousins. I remember the first time I took Matthew out skiing with me. I tried to put him between my skis and he wanted nothing to do with me. He just wanted to take off down the mountain on his own. He was fearless. Uncle Phil, Aunt Darlene, Micheal and Matthew’s families you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of knowing Matthew since his birth, and was honored to be named his Godfather. I watched Matthew grow through many phases of his life into such a gentleman that he was.Condolences to all the family!

Rest in Peace Matthew!

Great memories growing up with Matt as the 'cool cuz' to spend Xmas evenings with, retreating down to the ole gaming den outside Syracuse. Tragedy to lose him, and best wishes and thoughts to the whole family
Mary Ann and I are heartbroken over this news. Such great memories of the ski circuit. Matt was always there with encouragement and humor. A true hero. We hope that those memories help lighten the burden during these trying times. Rest easy Matt.
Sincere condolences to the families and friends during this extremely difficult time. Matty P was an amazing, goofy, and hilarious guy and it was a pleasure serving with him. He will never be forgotten.
