Matthew's obituary
It is with a heavy heavy heart, that I share with you that my partner and one of my dearest companions, Matthew Naccarato left this earthly plane to join his friends and family on April 26, 2025.
Regardless of how he came into your life and how long he stayed, one thing is true. He was (and still is) truly unforgettable. His big laugh, that mischievous twinkle in his true blue eyes or softly spoken and often given words of encouragement and advice left an indelible impression in our hearts and souls. You may not have liked his views, maybe not always appreciated his lack of subtlety but you knew exactly where you stood with him always. He was a fierce protector of his loved ones and would (and sometimes did) do anything possible to help if needed. His acts of service revealed his love and caring in ways he could not express. Behind those blue eyes, roared a torrent of emotion and caring and deep love.
My greatest wish for him now is to finally be able to do all the things he loves to do all the time. Building things quietly in the corner listening to the Grateful Dead on the radio, watching his beloved Dodgers and Cowboys play from the box or hiking the many trails he told me about in stories. Most importantly, doing all of these things without the crushing pain he felt everyday and finally to know what it means to be truly free.
His sudden departure has left a wake of unexpected expenses. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to help cover these costs. The go fund me link is here - https://gofund.me/e81685d1
