Matthew Leigh Livingston, 54, of Austin Texas, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Matt and his former spouse Debra  (Joy) Livingston  have three cherished children together, Alexis (Lexi) Livingston, Macy Livingston and Tyler Livingston. He is the beloved son of Karen Livingston and loving younger brother to Jeff and Scott Acke and Cherie (Livingston) Phelps. 

A graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana , Matt majored in Finance.  He retired from a successful career at TEKsystems. With a desire to help businesses reach their full potential, Matt founded Iron Core Consulting. A gifted teacher,  he had a passion for the personal and professional development of leadership clients.  

Matt chose to be an organ donor.  His family is comforted by faith as well as knowing his spirit continues to live in others.  We wish to acknowledge all Ascension Seton personnel, especially ICU and TOVA staff for exemplary care and comfort provided at such a difficult time. 

Ramsey Funeral Home, Georgetown, is handling final arrangements.  No formal service is planned.  A celebration of Matt’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Matt’s family suggests donating to Jail to Jobs, a favorite charity of his.  (www.jailtojobs.com)  Their goal is preventing recidivism in youth.
