Matthew Conrad Sua Larang, 33, passed away on August 16, 2023 from multi organ failure due to complications from advanced diffuse large B cell lymphoma.

Matthew was loved by so many. He was a loyal friend, a goofy cousin, a fun uncle, an adored nephew, and the favorite son and brother. Known for being a good listener, he befriended whomever he met.  An avid music lover, Matt always discovered new songs, and riding in his car was like a therapy session for his passengers. His charismatic, caring, and warm personality made you feel seen, safe, and special.

His culinary skills improved over the years, and his salmon, steak, and bruschetta were a favorite amongst family. He had a sweet tooth, but he especially loved ice cream, often finishing a whole box by himself.  He was tricked into running the NY marathon, but he finished! He was also a proud fur dad to Boomie, who loved to perform tricks and play with her ball. His smile and larger than life laugh will be greatly missed.

Matthew is survived by his father, Mateo Larang; mother, Renita Larang; sister, Sarah Chan; brother-in-law; Alex Chan; sister, Sheila Whittle; brother-in-law, Joel Whittle; niece, Alexis; nephew, Aidan; niece, Rebekah; niece, Ashlyn, and cockapoo, Boomie.
