Matt was 36 years of age, born October 17, 1985, in Fredericksburg, Virginia to and survived by his parents, Janet L. Jones and Terry “Randy” L. Jones. He was the oldest of three children survived by his brothers, Mark Jones, and Antonio Romero Jr. Matt is survived by his children, his oldest child being his daughter, and his youngest child, a son, Kasey Jones. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews, Daisy, Anthony, Bella, Lucas, Mila and Jaxx.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cora Coppage, Margaret Jones (Madison), Thomas Jones and Audrey Coffman, his uncles, Gerald Jones, and Greg Jones, his aunt, Jackie Coffman and his great grandparents, Ann E. Coffman (Evans) and Floyd Coffman.

Matt spent his time expressing his creative side through his art and love for tattoos. He was an amazing tattoo artist. Matt was an avid athlete and competed in wrestling and played baseball and football. He also enjoyed his arborist tree work as the “striker.”

Matt liked spending time watching superhero movies, dramas/thrillers and of course the fast and furious movies. Matt also thoroughly enjoyed listening to country and rock music. When he was younger, he wanted to be the next Garth Brooks. He even entered in the Prince William Junior Corral thinking he would be able to sing Garth Brooks – The Thunder Rolls, but was upset to find out they were singing opera instead of country.

Although Matt’s passing was tragic and he struggled for many years, he was loved by many and will truly be missed.
