The First time I met you we were at Camp Dawson taking the PT test, you were right behind me in line. At first I was just thinking to myself, "Damn this dude is so loud! I just wish he would calm down a little." Before we got done with the pushups and sit-ups we were talking like we'd known each other for years. I was so glad that you were right across the hall from me in Iraq and I got to talk to you everyday you could make the worst day so much better without even trying. It broke my heart to hear about your passing Brother. My heart goes out to you and your family. You will always be loved, and missed by so many. Til Valhalla!
He was a great guy. This breaks my heart. Prayers for his family, kids, and all of his friends. He will forever be missed

First, I would like to take a moment to speak to the Walters family directly. Thank you for taking me in 13-years-ago, only to find out I was crazy than y’all. I want to send a heartfull sympathy to my, Aunt Monzella. I love you the most, because 11-years ago, we took a trip to Brownsville together (hilarious trip), and you looked me in my soul and told me to, “forget people who don’t care, we are your family now.” And you hugged me and we both cried. And I wanted to make sure you were aware of how that profound moment changed my life. Love you for an enterny.

Mo- Gosh. I feel your agony, anger and I wish I could take the pain away from you. I promise you, it will one day get easier to live with. You’re an incredible, strong, powerful, independent woman and you were the best, honest, caring sister anyone could dream of. I love you unconditionally.

Jenn- I’m not going to say sorry- instead I am going to tell you my heart is incredibly broken for your loss. We all know Matthew loves you and I am so disgusted to hear people being crued. Remember the ones who care and that you owe no one an explanation. Love is eternal and I wish you somehow find peace and nothing but blessings. Please reach out to me anytime!

Gionna & Aniya- you sweet angels. Take care of your mommy and grandma; remember, The Walters family will always be there to support, help and love you, forever.

Mihkal- I love you man. Since you and Shayna had no friends at school but each other 🥰. Make your uncle Matt proud and take care of your mommy- you’re a good man. Please reach out to Aunt Ashley or Uncle Tony, anytime (for anything).

B, RJ & All them kids- Man, y’all are my heart, forreal. Most loyal people I know. Matt half lived there and I swear all I can remember is his constant complaining about chicken wings all the time🤭 that brother love is forever. But remember, RJ, you can’t out dance him.

Matthew James King- Man....I met you in six grade man...And only because of Rj. You got on my nerves a lot but like it was impossible to hate you. But we listed to the same ratchet music and you always beat me in our twerk competitions. We graduated and boom. Your cousin proposed to me😂.
Thank you for all the times you took me to and from the airport (atleast 50 separate occasions). Thank you for loving your niece, nephew and your cousin, Tony. Thank you for calling out my weave...during Christmas dinner. Thank you for the thousands of random moments, memories and weird events we have experienced. Thank you for being an awesome father, fiancé, brother, son and veteran. I know you were struggling and I hope you’re able to find peace. I love your goofy self and watch over your three girls. If you have some time, please watch over your cousin, Tony, as he really misses you. Fly high (light skin ).
Keeping the Family and children in prayer at this time. Praying for God to provide solace to all of us who are missing him by remembering the happy times. His smile and exuberant personality certainly did light up a room. His absence has left a whole in our hearts. Matt was very special.
