How you can help
Matt had a genetic disorder called myotonic muscular dystrophy. Because of his steady decline, 13 surgeries, 6 concussions, stroke, and 2 pulmonary embolism, he wasn't ever able to qualify for life insurance. We still owed 3k on Matt's funeral package and 4700 on our portion of his 3 days in the ICU at the hospital where he had emergency surgery to repair his collapsed lungs.
