We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Matt's passing. We have such fond memories of Jesse and Matt growing up together, and then reconnecting later on as teens. I remember the day Matt stood in our driveway and said "Do you remember me?" Of course, we did, and we were so happy to hear of your return to the Bluffs. We enjoyed cooking with Matt in the house in Orlando and sharing dinners with the boys. He was always so respectful and personable, a son you could be so proud of. From all of the Walsh family, we are sorry for your loss. Although we may not have seen Matty recently, he ALWAYS held a special place in our hearts.
I’m so glad that I had the chance to meet Matty during my Florida trip in 2015. I found him to be warm, caring and a genuinely sweet person. His talents were endless and he will be missed by so many. George and I will continue to keep you all in our prayers. Sending our love to you❤️
Matt and I joined CHS at the same day in January this year and I was shocked and saddened to hear about his loss while on vacation last week. I will miss seeing puppy photos, talking about weekend adventures, him being my "inside guy" or our expert in matching colors on wine and paint night, swapping cruise stories and plans for future trips. After one weekend catch-up discussion I told him about a new restaurant in the Gulch and he had said he hadn't heard of it and should check it. But he said he loved living in East and had such a good time there that he didn't leave as much as he could to explore Nashville. What I heard him saying was that he just loved his East Nashville friends, neighborhood, and life so much he didn't need to...andthat gives me comfort knowing he lived and was loved so well. My condolences to all who loved him near and far.
I’m deeply saddened and shocked to have seen this. If you guys need anything, feel free to reach out. I’m not far. Big hugs and prayers for your strength. Danielle and Biscuit 💗
