"Matthew Curran (Matt), 36, beloved son of Judy and Pat Curran passed away on October 11, 2023 after a fierce battle with metastatic melanoma.

He is also survived by his cherished sisters, Lizzy and Mollay Curran as well as Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and numerous friends. Matt will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, kindness, loyalty and extensive knowledge of all things NFL and NHL. He was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Matt loved the outdoors especially fishing, kayaking, hiking, camping and simply being in nature. His adventurous spirit resulted in travels to Europe and South America as well as road trips around the United States with loved ones.

Matt, sometimes referred to as an “Old Soul”, was most definitely wise beyond his years. He displayed a quiet fortitude which those who encountered him found to be very comforting. His generosity with both time and treasure will be sorely missed. His willingness to help both friends and strangers was truly a blessing.

Rest in Peace young man, we will carry your loving spirit forward.

Service Information:

A Celebration of Matthew’s Life is scheduled for Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 11:00am till 3:00pm at Tom Varn Park, Pavilion #1, 301 Darby Lane, Brooksville, Florida 34601."
